Meet Our Team

Scott joined Flow-Tech in April 2007. He brings with 29 years of experience in the mechanical trade. Scott has an Associate degree in Applied Science. licensed journeyman plumber since 1983, licensed plumbing contractor since 1984, has a medical gas certification and OSHA safety certification. He is responsible for the commercial and residential mechanical and HVAC, bidding on new projects, managing flow of material and labor. He has been married to his wife Linda for 22 years; has a stepdaughter, Tamara, and two dogs - Bailey and Kacie. In his spare time he enjoys living at the lake, flying and restoring old airplanes.

Joe joined the Flow-Tech family in 2005. He brought with him 20 years of experience in the HVAC field. Joe is a category A journeyman in HVAC and holds a Associates degree in HVAC. Joe has lived in Whitley County for 15 years, and has been married to Julie for 16 years. Together they are the proud parents of three children. Andrew is the oldest, followed by Zachary, and then Rebecca. Joe enjoys farming and raising livestock in his spare time, he also enjoys working with customers and meeting a lot of people to find their needs for the proper system installation.

Michelle joined the company in 2004 as the service coordinator. In September 2006, she took over all the accounting duties. Michelle is in charge of all accounting matters including billings, payables, receivables, payroll and many other computer related tasks. Michelle has been married to her husband, Adam, for 9 years and has two wonderful children, Owen & Ellie.


Meet Our Team...	Flow-Tech Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is a small company owned and operated by two lifelong residents of Whitley County. We take pride in meeting the customer's needs with professionalism and courtesy unmatched in the industry. Flow-Tech has received the "Best Plumbing and HVAC Company in Whitley County" by Post and Mail Readers' Choice Award for three years in a row and our secretary was voted "Best Secretary" for the same time period. Founded in 1990, the Flow-Tech team has grown from two men to twenty-eight well-trained service technicians and installation crew members with a professional office staff ready to expedite service and answer any questions the customer may have.
David	David Gareiss President and Co-Founder As president and co-founder, David expertly manages the residential construction division as well as managing the financial end of the business. He carefully oversees job and labor tracking as well as preparation of quotes for residential, HVAC remodeling and plumbing projects. You may also find him handling counter sales for walk-in customers. David is licensed as an HVAC supervisor and plumbing journeyman with certifications in geothermal loop Installation, universal refrigerants and Tite-Flex indoor gas piping. David and his wife, Jennifer are blessed with 3 children, Lauren, Austin and Christian Working with customers is helping them build their dream home, an addition, or just making improvements to their existing residence, is one of the best parts about his job.
Jim
	James Farber Secretary/Treasurer and Co-Founder As Secretary/Treasurer and co-founder, James runs the commercial and industrial division of the company. From design build to plan spec jobs, he also is in charge of purchasing of materials along with duties pertaining to the management of company financial matters. As a part of the mechanical business since 1988, James is licensed as an Indiana plumbing contractor, HVAC journeyman, non-sanitary supervisor and is certified in Type 1 and 2 refrigerants. James enjoys working with commercial contractors, starting from scratch on a commercial building to design heating, cooling, ventilation and plumbing systems that will work perfectly and meet the customer's needs. A lifelong resident of Columbia City, James has been married to his wife, Brook, for 16 wonderful years and they are proud parents of three beautiful daughters.

	Ruth Kimmel Service Coordinator Ruth joined Flow-Tech in October of 2007 as our Service Coordinator. She is responsible for answering the phone, scheduling service calls, maintaining Service Maintenance Agreements with customers, work order invoicing and a variety of other tasks. Ruth as been married to her husband, Joel, for 20 years and they have two children, Kody and Nicole. In their free time they enjoy driving in demolition derbies.
